On December 15, 2020, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors passed an urgency ordinance to preserve the health, safety and public welfare during the local emergency by capping fees that may be charged to restaurants by third-party delivery services such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Postmates.
